Pharmacy Residency Program
Established in 1967, the Walnut HealthCare Pharmacy Residency Program trains residents to become confident, competent and compassionate caregivers equipped with the skills and knowledge to meet the challenge of pharmacy practice.
We offer a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency program accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) as well as a PGY2 program in infectious diseases (which currently has candidate status for ASHP accreditation).
Learning experiences are offered in a wide variety of practice areas customized to the resident’s individual interests. Our preceptors — many are board-certified pharmacotherapy specialists (BCPS) — provide expert training to our residents.
